Orientation Night

It was wonderful to see and meet returning and new SJA families at last week's Orientation Night. Some changes for this year are:

• Music every Monday & Wednesday
• Drama every Tuesday & Thursday
• Gym everyday
• Children will change for gym each day. Send your child's gym clothes in a small gym bag that can stay on a hook in our classroom
• No need to purchase guitars. Guitar class now begins in grade 5.
• Math homework everyday

We will need a few items for our rocks and minerals science unit.

• Rocks. Rocks -not boulder -  start collecting them. Shiny ones, red ones, black ones, any one that grabs your fancy.
• Egg cartons or another suitable container for storing our rock collections.
• Empty hot chocolate tins with lids (or another can with a plastic lid)
