Oral Competition

Today was the day of our annual SJA Oral Competition. We spent much of our morning as an audience for the finalists from JK to grade 8 who presented their poems and speeches. Well done to all for their presentations and to the audience for being respectful while listening to others. We look forward to hearing the results tomorrow.
The children attended drama class with Mrs. Henein and French class with Mme. Stella.
In math, the grade 3s practiced drawing pictures as a strategy to solve problems. The grade 4s used transformations to create a pattern in a line or over an area. They are using math vocabulary to describe their transformations.
We ended the day working on grammar and arithmetic practice.
