Earth Day

The morning was dedicated to Earth Day games, activities, and a viewing of Dr. Seuss' Lorax. From the sounds coming from the gym, students had a lot of fun. Teachers had in-school professional development, as we strive to incorporate more inquiry into our teaching methods.
The afternoon was shared between math and our UOI. Grade 3s practiced finding the perimeter of a figure in centimetres and metres. Grade 4s wrote their Fractions and Decimals unit test. We ended the day working on our PowerPoint slide shows about Canada's provinces and territories.
