Cooperation

Grade 3 students made great progress with their science fair project this morning. We printed all our information out, cut it, framed it, and pasted it onto the display board. Students are reminded to bring in their science fair boards on Thursday.
Students worked on spelling words and verbs, subjects, and nouns in language. In arithmetic they learned to add fractions where the denominator is the same. We used 3 different strategies to solve these problems and the students feel very confident about this work.
Students attended gym and French class today.
We worked on our Arts' Night presentation. This practice is giving lots of opportunity for students to work cooperatively with others as they are responsible for choreographing their dance steps.
In math, grade 3s explored the liklihood of different outcomes. Grade 4s continued reviewing patterns in number and geometry in preparation for tomorrow's unit test.
