Beheaded!

Much of our day was spent rehearsing for the Christmas concert as Thursday draws near. Despite this, the grade 3s and 4s managed to do a double dose of spelling work today and completed up their language work on plurals. They will write a test tomorrow to show what they have learned. The children had french class with Mme. Stella.
Grade 3s worked with a partner on a unit problem for multiplication and division to show what they have learned. Grade 4s are preparing for January's math unit on data management by discussing attributes used for sorting objects.
The children spent time working on their graphic novel to show the fate of Henry Hudson. Many students are enjoying this activity.
We finished reading a book called You Wouldn't Want to be in a Medieval Dungeon!, which has helped us appreciate how difficult life could be back then.

Reminders:

  • spelling
  • Sign all tests coming home today
  • Students are to arrive at 6:45 pm on Thursday night
  • Bring a treat to share on Friday
