Christmas concert rehearsal was a big part of our day. In between rehearsals the grade 3 and 4 class was productive. The grade 3s worked on their multiplication and division unit problem and have all completed this task. The grade 4s worked on using a Venn diagram to sort objects with a partner They then covered their sorting rule and switched diagrams with another group in an attempt to guess their rule. Later in the day, grade 4s wrote an assessment test to show what they remember about grade 3 probability and data management.
Both grades wrote a language test to show what they have learned about plurals.
We enjoyed a fascinating history lesson where we learned about knights called samurai and a leader called Nobunaga who tried to unify Japan. The main figure we learned about was Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Ask your child to tell you about his life.
