Knight in Shining Armour

Happy Monday Everyone

Everyone was excited to have Kunsh back from his trip to India.

We started the day with Math Makes Sense, grade 4's worked on strategies for multiplication and the grade 3's used a multiplication chart to help them multiply. Both grades are reminded, even though the MMS seem straight forward, all homework must be done and these concepts will help them in the future.

We wrote our arithmetic test after gym, at first glance students seemed to have done well. We will return the test along with the language test tomorrow.

After music and french were learned about a knight's armour and weapons. The lesson was full of pictures and we had some good discussions on what it would have been a Knight fighting in the middle ages. Our trip on Thursday give the students a great idea of what it was like to be in the middle ages.

We finished off working on our second attempt at a journal entry. Students were provided with a checklist and rubric so they know what is expected from them. We will continue to work on the journal's for a couple days.

Reminders:
Medieval Times permission forms are due this Thursday
Please return report cards with parent comments completed, we will photocopy and return them.

Homework
