During this morning's convocation, younger student representatives from each house played pin the nose on Rudolph followed by older students have a cookie-eating and milk-drinking competition. Zeta is still in the lead for this year's house game. Students who have been nominated by their peers as being principled and knowledgeable received their certificates this morning. Well done to Nathan (principled) and Kunsh (knowledgeable). Santa made a surprise appearance to hand out certificates. He received many hugs from students.
Afeter convocation, our class joined with the grade 2s and 5/6s in a gingerbread house building competition. Well done to Braeden for being the winner from our class. After the building the children spent time interacting with each other while eating treats. And the saying proved true - time flies when you are having fun. Before you knew it, it was time for our early dismissal.
Our class has worked hard so far this school year and students have made great progress.
