Building Structures with Solids

Grade 3s and 4s began their week with math. Grade 3s used 3-D solids to build structures. They described the solids they had used and why they had built the structure in that way. Grade 4s continued reviewing unit 3 for tomorrow's unit test on geometry.
Both grades worked on spelling. This week we are reviewing spelling lists 7 to 11.
The class wrote an arithmetic test as well as a language test today. Both tests will be coming home later this week.
The children had an hour to work on their projects.Three more school days to get finished before the big presentations on Friday.
Many children got to enjoy 20 minutes of independent reading time. We also finished reading Frindle today. Many of the grade 3s and 4s thought it had a sad ending even though nothing sad had happened.

• Come see the grade 4-8s perform Much Ado on Wednesday at 7 pm and earn 10 000 house points
