Good Afternoon
In Math Makes Sense 4 we learned different strategies for multiplying numbers. The grade 3's had a lesson on multiplying by 2 and 5's. Students are reminded even though some of the questions were easy in the textbook doesn't mean they can't use these strategies in the future for larger numbers.
Instead of gym we had a lengthy talk about showing respect to teachers, adults or a student who is presenting or asking a question. We expect St. Jude's students to be well behaved at all times, I hope this improves so we can have gym tomorrow.
After music and french we learned about the duties of a Knight during Medieval Times. In small groups students had to make up a code of chivalry to follow if they were knights. Honour, loyalty and respect were common themes.
After lunch we had our language test and worked on our spelling. I was impressed with the effort put forward by the students throughout the day today.
Reminders:
Lunch forms are due FRIDAY!
Medieval Times permission forms and payments are due by December 6th.
