Direct Quotations

Grade 3s and 4s started their day with math. Grade 3s continued working on revision for tomorrow's geometry test. They are bringing the revision sheets home today. Grade 4s were challenged to build a castle out of straws and Plasticine today.The ran into construction issues with their building materials.
The children and teachers of SJA were treated to a viewing of the grade 5-8s performing Much Ado About Nothing. The final performance is this evening at 7 pm. The children of SJA gave the performance a rating of 10!
In language, the children learned that a sentence that includes the exact words somebody has said is called a direct quotation. They practised identifying and using quotation marks today.
In arithmetic, we went over 3-digit division again, and the children are feeling more comfortable with the extra step. They also spent time reviewing spelling lists 10 & 11.
The class had their second last 1 hour period to work on their drama, dance & poetry projects before they present them on Friday.
The class attended music and french class today.
